Yōko (ようこ) is a student at Yurigaoka Girls High School who was first featured in Go-Go! Nekketsu Hockey Club Slip-and-Slide Madness. She is the captain of her school's hockey team and is the head of the school's magic club. She is strict on herself and takes practice seriously, though has a soft spot for her friends. Sports used to be everything in her life, though she's come to grow an appreciation for cute things.[1]

Yōko debuts in Go-Go! Nekketsu Hockey Club Slip-and-Slide Madness as the captain of Yurigaoka Girls High School's hockey team. In the story mode, Kunio will ask for her help training Nekketsu High School's hockey team while they're eating at a restaurant, to which she agrees.
River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~[]
Yōko appears as the cheerleader for Yurigaoka Girls High School's team and as an unlockable character if the player wins a game with Yurigaoka in free battle. She is able to use the Nitro Attack.
River City Girls[]
Yōko appears in Uptown and is asked by Misako and Kyōko if she's seen Kunio or Riki, to which she replies that she hasn't and asks if they ditched the two girls again. Confusing the two, Misako tells her that they've been kidnapped. Yōko points the girls to Hibari, as she noticed the ones seen taking the boys in the photo were wearing one of her custom jackets.
River City Girls 2[]
Yōko appears in River City High's dodgeball court for a side quest where the protagonists ask her if she'd like to help them clear out the yakuza in town, though she replies that she's currently too busy training a group of students for an upcoming dodgeball tournament. Yōko proposes that if they help her train the students, she'll owe them a favor when she's available. Upon completing the dodgeball minigame, Yōko will thank the protagonists for helping her out.
