Nishino (久仁子, くにこ), full name Tamae Nishino (にしの たまえ), is a first year student at Hanazono High School who was first featured in Downtown River City Baseball Story ~Play Ball, Kunio!~, where she served the role of her school's cheerleader. She is the niece of Anzu Nishino.

Nishino plays the role of Lu Xun.
Lu Xun is first seen during the third chapter alongside Lu Meng (Wataru) as part of his scheme to trick Guan Yu (Kunio) into lowering his guard. When Guan Yu arrives at the Xiangyang Castle, Lu Meng informs him that he has fallen ill and has appointed Lu Xun as the new commander to replace him. In order to give Guan Yu the impression that the new commander is weak, Lu Xun nervously introduces herself to him. She hands him a gift and roots for him in his battle against the Wei before leaving. Later after Lu Meng is ordered by a brainwashed Sun Quan (Riki) into taking back control of Jingzhou, Lu Xun accompanies him and distracts the few guards posted outside of Gong'an by giving them a self help book under the guise that it'll make them smarter. As they get ready to take over, Lu Xun expresses how she liked the friendlier version of Lu Meng more, though he tells her to keep quiet and to focus on their mission. He then lists off his evil ideas for what he'll do once in power as Lu Xun listens in approval.
Later, Lu Xun is seen commanding her troops to chase after the Shu. Guan Yu buys time for Ma Liang (Minori) and Liao Hua (Ichijō) so they can escape to Yizhou. After finding a chance to escape for himself, Lu Xun orders her remaining men to chase after Guan Yu. On the Hard-Liner route, Lu Xun comes face to face with Guan Yu and mentions how despite hearing about him from Lu Su (Mami), she didn't expect him to be so capable on his own. He mentions that he let his guard down once he heard she was taking Lu Meng's place, in which she admits that making herself look incompetent was the first step of their plan. She asks Guan Yu if he'd consider surrendering so they can capture him without a fight, though he refuses the offer which prompts her to fight him with the help of her men. After the fight, the two compliment each other on their strength with Lu Xun taking the opportunity to ramble about how she admires Lu Su. Guan Yu flees while she is distracted which angers her. Later during an emergency meeting within the Wu as the Shu march through Jingzhou, Lu Xun orders her men to ramp up their defense for the time being which angers them. They begin thinking of launching an attack of their own, though Lu Xun reminds them that she was entrusted with her position by Sun Quan himself, so failure to obey her orders would subsequently be an act of betrayal against him. She threatens to put up a call-out post with their names and pictures on the team's social media if they continue to disobey her. Under the assumption that Guan Yu took Lu Su hostage, she vows to get her back no matter what.
Shortly after the Wu goes on the offensive, Lu Xun catches up to the Shu and demands Guan Yu to surrender for capturing Lu Su. To her surprise, the others make use of Zhuge Liang (Misako)'s hidden stone soldier tactic to assist them in battle. Lu Xun attempts to fight them, though she is ultimately defeated. She eventually backs down after Lu Su arrives and orders her to stop fighting. Lu Su compliments her efforts and states that they've greatly surpassed her expectations. With Lu Xun not wanting to back down in order to prove herself, Lu Su attempts to explain that she instead needs to help bring Sun Quan back to his senses, though they're interrupted by Sun Quan's sudden appearance as he claims that he's never lost his senses in the first place. He commends Lu Xun's skills and asks her to keep fighting for the glory of his nation which leaves her confused on what he's talking about. Following Sun Quan's defeat to Guan Yu which had him return back to normal, Lu Su and Zhuge Liang agree to reforge their alliance. Lu Su then asks Lu Xun for her help as she believes her abilities are crucial for the Wu, to which she happily accepts.
In the final chapter, Sun Quan and Lu Xun are called by Zhuge Liang as backup in their battle against the Jin. Lu Xun asks how the war is going, in which Zhuge Liang explains that they've been winning small battles though are lacking in provisions as Sima Yi (Tobioka) has turned it into a matter of endurance. With her predictions right, she tells Zhuge Liang that she gathered up provisions all throughout their lands and is sending them over to Nanzheng. Feeling more motivated than ever, Zhuge Liang asks Lu Xun and Jiang Wei (Reika) to hold a tactical brainstorming session with her for three days straight. Lu Xun is disappointed that she was unable to do some sightseeing while she was in Chengdu. As the days pass, the three finally finish their master plan without any sleep. Sun Quan notices Lu Xun looks out of focus and advises her to get some rest. On the following day after the encounter with Zhong Hui (ShingoFJ2) and Deng Ai (Robobo), Lu Xun informs Zhuge Liang that after the two returned, Sima Yi tightened up his defense just as she expected. She then leaves for seven days to enact the second part of their plan with everyone being ordered to stay on defense. A week after, Zhuge Liang finishes her ritual which summoned an entire meteor towards the Jin's base. The Shu then go on the offensive with Lu Xun and Jiang Wei first assisting Guan Yu in his fight against Sima Shi (RK300-1) and Sima Zhao (RK300-2). In Chang'an, she accompanies Guan Yu in his fight against Zhong Hui alongside Zhuge Liang, Jiang Wei, and Zhou Yu (Kyōko). After being defeated, Lu Xun admits that she's now scared of Jiang Wei after witnessing her explosive reaction to Zhong Hui's comments about Liu Bei (Gōda).
