Mochizuki (望月, もちづき ), full name Shun Mochizuki (望月駿, もちづき しゅん ), is a third year student at Reihō Academy and is one of the school's Four Kings. He is a recurring character in the Downtown Nekketsu series and is known for his quickness in combat, being given the nickname "Motsu the Quick". He is described as being cheerful and honest.
He is the older brother of Tsukasa Mochizuki and is the best friend of Ryōma Hayasaka.

Mochizuki debuts in Downtown Nekketsu Story as one of the bosses. He is seen at the abandoned building after clearing the enemies and will excitedly fight against Kunio. Upon being defeated, he comments on the rumors of Kunio's strength being true. He is required to be defeated in order to reach Masao Kobayashi.
In River City Ransom and Street Gangs, Mochizuki is renamed to Turk.

Mochizuki plays the role of Kinsuke, a member of the Jinroku family.
Kinsuke first appears as a boss fight, though the player is later able to recruit them as an ally after defeating Jinroku. If the player accepts Jinroku's offer, Kinsuke will become available as a selectable partner at Bunzō's. Kinsuke has a high speed stat and will start with the Nitro Attack by default.

River City: Rival Showdown[]
River City: Rival Showdown is a remake of Downtown Nekketsu Story. The game takes place before River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~.
Three months prior to the main story, Mochizuki is approached by Taiki Yamada at Hanazono Park challenging him at a fight, to which he gladly accepts. Upon being defeated, he compliments Yamada's strength and is asked to join him as one of his subordinates. Sitting there confused, Yamada attempts to brainwash him and believes he's successfully done so, though Mochizuki was only knocked down to the ground and would later get up unphased.
In the main story, Mochizuki is first seen during the second night where he'll be waiting for Kunio at Hanazono Park. Having heard of Kunio beating Kiyofumi Taira and Tadashi Kinoshita in a fight, he picks a fight with him. Impressed with Kunio's fighting skills after being defeated, Mochizuki passes out and later has his followers walk into the park seeing him passed out on the ground and Kunio standing by. When Mochizuki's followers are all defeated, Mochizuki gets up and informs the group that they were fighting against Kunio, which they all become shocked as they know about his legendary status. Mochizuki and his crew take on Kunio one last time to where they are all defeated once again. Mochizuki compliments Kunio's strength once again, informs him that he will likely be facing off against Kobayashi soon, and tells him about the battle arena that's being ran at the park.
On the third day, Mochizuki is seen guarding the gate outside of Kobayashi's factory as he wishes to have a rematch against Kunio because of his loss the night before. When defeated, Mochizuki believes Kunio might be able to take on Kobayashi and gives details on Kobayashi's fighting history with other big names at Reihō Academy. Mochizuki will later be seen running into the factory too see the victor of Kunio and Mochizuki's fight, to where he is seen shocked at Kunio's victory.
During the final day, Mochizuki will appear inside Reihō Academy as the first of the Four Kings fought by Kunio and Riki. Upon being defeated, he accepts that he may never be able to beat Kunio in a fight and will ease Riki's worries about Mami Shimada, as he says Kazumi Hasebe was last seen with her.
In the Double Dragon Duel mode, Mochizuki's River City Ransom counterpart Turk appears as a playable character and an opponent in the tournament.

River City Saga: Three Kingdoms[]
Mochizuki plays the role of Yue Jin, a general in Cao Cao (Yamada)'s army who'd often be able to surprise attack an enemy before they had time to prepare their forces.
Yue Jin is first seen during the third chapter when Liu Bei (Gōda), Guan Yu (Kunio), and Zhang Fei (Godai) approach him in Suiyang to pass a message from Tao Qian to request negotiations with Cao Cao. Yue Jin agrees to take the letter and pass it to Cao Cao.
During the fourth chapter, Yue Jin questions Guan Yu as to why he's refusing Cao Cao's offer to join his army with no clear sign of knowing Liu Bei and Zhang Fei are still alive. Yue Jin insists that Cao Cao is wasting his time on trying to recruit Guan Yu, though Cao Cao believes that his loyalty to Liu Bei and Zhang Fei are a good thing and proceeds to negotiate terms with Guan Yu. Outside of Cao Cao's castle in Xu, Yue Jin is able to spar with Guan Yu. Upon being beaten, he will express to Guan Yu that he's happy to be allies with him, even if it may be temporary.
Yue Jin makes a brief appearance in the fifth chapter as a boss fight at the Dangyang Bridge, where he'll be seen alongside other troops in Cao Cao's army fighting Zhang Fei. During the Battle of Red Cliffs in the final chapter, Yue Jin will come across Guan Yu, Zhou Tai (Saotome), and Gan Ning (Shimizu) on one of the ships and states that though he has nothing against Guan Yu personally, he doesn't wish to pass up on the opportunity to fight against him.
Mochizuki was added to the China Heroes gamemode as a bonus character that is unlocked by default in the English release of the game. In this gamemode, Mochizuki is able to use Rapid Fall Punch, Explosive Kick, Nitro Attack, all bow attacks, and Shooting Stars as his super special.
