Sankichi (さんきち) is a character who was first featured in Downtown Special Kunio-kun's Historical Period Drama!. He is an aid to Bunzō and is his right hand man.

Sankichi plays the role of himself.
Sankichi is first able to be seen inside of Bunzō's house where he will allow Kunimasa to change their partner. Upon defeating a boss for the first time, Sankichi will find Kunimasa to inform him that Okoto has been kidnapped by two men and apologizes to him that he was unable to do anything. If Kunimasa returns to Bunzō's house after he has joined as a selectable partner, Sankichi will gift Kunimasa an amulet that raises his defense. He will later be seen with the others during the ending outside of Bunzō's.

Sankichi appears as a Team Edit character that can be unlocked by completing a game in Single Play with the Senridai High School Team and Jidaigeki Team. Sankichi is able to use the Senpūkyaku, Mach Kick II, and the Screw.

- In Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX, Ebinuma, one of the enemies from Hoshi-No-Oka West High School, uses his face.
