Ryūta (リュウタ ) is a minor antagonist featured in Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka. He is a student from Hanazono High School who took over as the school's banchō in Riki's absence.
Background[]
Ryūta is first mentioned by Nobu outside of Hanazono High School when he spots Riki and briefs him on what happened. Nobu mentions that as soon as Riki was arrested, Ryūta began taking over the school and forced all of the students from Hanazono, Nekketsu High School and the next town over to work part-time jobs at the amusement park for him. Nobu claims that although Ryūta takes out a huge cut of each paycheck his workers receive, he is possibly also being used by someone higher up than him and is keeping the money all to himself. Upon walking into Hanazono, the group overhears a conversation between some students debating if they should've destroyed the school, as they believe it's going to collapse soon. The other student assures that they were only following Ryūta's orders and that they shouldn't think about it.
On the roof of the school, Ryūta is seen trying to get with Kyōko, though she shuts him down by making fun of his looks. Ryūta appears angry with Kyōko's attitude and states that she shouldn't be acting like that as Riki won't be able to save her, though is immediately shocked upon seeing Riki and Kunio. Ryūta gets ready to fight against the group and states that regardless of what happens, the school will come crumbling down anyway. During the fight, the school will crumble down a few floors. Upon being defeated, Ryūta will back himself up against a wall and beg for forgiveness, though is instead taunted by Riki and Misako. Ryūta claims that was under Shinji's orders as he borrowed some money from him and that Shinji seems to be backed by the Sanwakai. Riki asks Ryūta for Shinji's location, though he remains silent until Misako kicks him in the crotch, where he then tells the group that he's likely at the amusement park.
