Robo-Kunio is a character who was featured in River City Saga: Three Kingdoms Next. He is a robot created by Michael Tobioka who shares the likeness of Kunio and was trained using his battle data.

Robo-Kunio plays the role of Guan Yu, a righteous general who's admired by many.
Robo Guan Yu first appears during the final chapter where he serves as the game's final boss. Having bought himself enough time to prepare, Sima Yi (Tobioka) unveils the robot as his ultimate weapon in a last ditch effort to defeat Guan Yu (Kunio) and the Shu. He explains to Guan Yu that the robot is a perfect recreation of him that was trained off of his battle data and orders the robot to attack him. During the fight, Robo Guan Yu inherits various techniques from Guan Yu and is also able to make use of some special moves from Liu Bei (Gōda) and Zhang Fei (Godai). Upon being defeated, Robo Guan Yu is destroyed to the dismay of Sima Yi. Guan Yu admits that the robot had his moves and power locked down, though was missing any of the passion that keeps him going.
