No. 29 (29号), real name Alferez is a minor antagonist featured in Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story. He is a leader of the evil organization and is described as having a calm demeanor on the surface, though has a complete change in attitude when his true nature is revealed. He has a hatred towards women due to a past incident.

No. 29 sets his sights on eliminating Sayo, though would instead target Kobayashi after Sayo managed to escape.
No. 29 will first appear upon defeating the thirty of the purple fighters and will briefly introduce himself to Kobayashi before he offers him his love if he hands him Sayo. No. 29 then fights Kobayashi after not receiving an answer. Upon being defeated, he comments on Kobayashi's rejection of him and believes he has no choice but to obey him. Sayo will later meet up with Kobayashi and mention that she's had her eye on him and describes him as being persistent.
