Martha (マーサ Māsa), full name Martha Splatterhead (マーサ・スプラッターヘッド Māsa Supurattāheddo), is a guest character from The Combatribes who was first featured in River City Girls. In her debut title, Martha was the leader of Ground Zero who wanted revenge on the US Army for turning her into a cyborg. She previously knew the Combatribes and in both the Arcade and SNES version of the game would appear as the final boss.
In River City Girls 2, Martha's counterparts are named Empress Crushfist and Queen Earthbreaker. Empress Crushfist is described as being both Martha's nemesis and best friend. Queen Earthbreaker is described as being a gorgon from another time though found herself fitting in at River City without any issues.
