Madoka (まどか) is a teacher at Nekketsu High School that was first featured in Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special. She is the homeroom teacher of Kunio and Hiroshi. Madoka is regarded as a kind teacher who's popular with their students as she always thinks of them first. She's constantly teased by Kunio, who always tells her compliments or attempts to flirt with her.

Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special[]
Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special is a remake of the original Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun and acts as a reboot starting from a new continuity.
In the story mode, Madoka is first seen talking to the Principal about Nekketsu High School's latest transfer student and about how he's known as a delinquent. When Kunio first arrives to class with Hiroshi, Madoka introduces herself to Kunio though is appalled by his immediate flirtatious comments and tells him and Hiroshi to stand outside in silence. While Kunio leaves to go to the bathroom, Hiroshi is attacked by Yūya and a group of Hanazono High School students who are looking to get revenge on Kunio. A fight ensues when he comes back with Madoka breaking it up in the middle of the fight and scolds Kunio for getting into fights at school. Hiroshi attempts to defend his actions by saying that it was to protect him, though Madoka disregards this and demands Kunio to come back to class. She is later seen talking to the Principal about Kunio, in which he is told to not get into any fights and do anything that'd anger others.
On the following day, Madoka goes outside into the school's courtyard to talk with a group of Hanazono High School students that have gathered up looking to fight Kunio. The Principal asks her to step back, though she decides to stick around and attempts to ask Wataru Sasaki what Kunio did to get them all riled up. She starts to get angry over his rude comments and is then knocked to the ground by him. Kunio witnesses the ordeal and walks outside enraged with what he's done. Madoka attempts to talk him out of escalating things further, though Kunio ignores her and dashes straight towards the park in an attempt to lure Wataru and his goons off of school grounds. Later at school, Misako is sent by Madoka to find Kunio and have him follow her to the Principal's office. Madoka is seen in the office defending Kunio and insisting that the Principal did not make a mistake in accepting him into the school. Kunio walks in and asks Madoka how she's holding up, in which she brushes her injury off and asks him to stop referring to her as "Madoka-chan". When asked by the Principal on where he went, Kunio tells the two that he ran away because he didn't want to get into a fight.
In the second chapter, Madoka tells Kunio to go the the Principal's office after class where he is asked if he had gotten into an altercation with Hanazono High School. Madoka mentions that Wataru came by the other day to apologize for what he's done and believes that Riki scolded him heavily. Misako walks into the room to inform Madoka of a situation that's going on outside, in which she tells Kunio to not go deal with it himself. Kunio ignores her advice and walks outside of the school to confront the Blue Emperor members waiting for him. Misako urges Kunio to not confront them, though Kunio doesn't listen and asks her to tell Madoka about where he went. She then runs off to do what Kunio has asked. Madoka is later seen in the beginning of the third and final chapter teaching class.
Following Hiroshi's stabbing from the yakuza, Madoka and Misako arrive at the hospital to check in on him. Madoka asks Hiroshi for Kunio's whereabouts and eventually has him confess that Kunio has gone after his assailants. Misako beings to panic about Kunio, though Madoka assures her that he'll be able to handle himself just fine.
River City: Tokyo Rumble[]
Madoka appears in Nekketsu High School teaching class during certain cutscenes. She is often seen scolding Kunio for his lack of attention in school or gets angry with him for the flirtatious comments he makes towards her. Later in the game, Madoka meets with Kunio at the school for guidance counseling and asks him about what he wants to pursue as a career, though gets frustrated when he doesn't provide a straight answer. Madoka points out that she's been noticing Kunio leave class in a rush and asks if he's been getting into trouble. Kunio responds that it's only the usual, to which Madoka suggests he gets into sports instead.
During the final part of the game, Sabu reveals that he and Lee have taken Madoka hostage as a way to get a rise out of Kunio. She is then taken down to Hong Kong where Sabu and Lee await for Kunio's arrival. When the protagonists clear out Lee's hired goons, Madoka is saved by Ginjishi and is shocked to see Kunio when walking out. Sabu gets ready to shoot Madoka, though Ginjishi takes the bullet to prevent her from being shot. During the ending, Madoka appears angry with Kunio for flying all the way to Hong Kong, though ends up thanking him in the end as she realizes she wouldn't be able to stop Kunio's passion for justice.

Madoka appears as the cheerleader for the Nekketsu Dodgeball Club team.
River City Saga: Three Kingdoms[]
Madoka plays the role of Lu Zhi, a general in the late Han dynasty. Her students at the time were Gongsun Zan (Heilman) and Liu Bei (Gōda).
Lu Zhi is first mentioned by Liu Bei during the first chapter where he wishes to take Guan Yu (Kunio) and Zhang Fei (Godai) to her in hopes that she can guide them in their next steps. Upon meeting in Guangzong, she applauds Liu Bei's efforts and is fond of his newly found oath brothers. Lu Zhi points the brothers to Zhu Jun (Kawakami) in Changeshe to help him fight against the Yellow Turbans. Before leaving, Liu Bei asks why she's currently in Guangzong, to which she states that the city is currently occupied by the Yellow Turbans and that she's come to drive them away, though mentions that Zhang Jiao (Nishimura) is in the area which has complicated things, as he is one of the leaders. Guan Yu asks about the other two brothers, to which she mentions that Zhang Bao (Sawaguchi) is looking for a base farther in the south while Zhang Liang (Nedachi)'s whereabouts are unknown, as he's the least recognized of the brothers. Lu Zhi hands the brothers the fire tactic and gives directions to Changshe before they take their leave.
Later in the chapter, Lu Zhi appears in a side quest where she is being put under arrest for allegedly stealing or killing a horse according to rumors from the townspeople. The brothers attempt to plead for her innocence, though she demands that they stop as they cannot start a fight with an officer if they're looking to work for the Han. Guan Yu is given the option to fight the officers and will gather intel in Guangzong if he correctly chooses not to fight. Upon asking people in Guangzong, Guan Yu is pointed towards Nanpi and finds the stolen horse used to frame Lu Zhi from some bandits. Lu Zhi will then reappear back in Guangzong with her charges cleared as she's been proven innocent. Regardless of Guan Yu's decision, it will be revealed that Dong Zhuo (Sabu) is gunning for Lu Zhi and is attempting to use his growing influence in the royal court against her, so she decides to retire and live quietly deep within the mountains.
