Lucas, alternatively known as Mr. Big, is a localized version of Sabu that was first featured in the North American version of Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun.

Lucas debuted in the localization of Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun as the replacement for Sabu.
In the Arcade and NES versions of the game, the character is only given a palette change. The Arcade version removes the character's name while the NES version retains Sabu's name. In the computer ports of the game, Lucas is renamed to Mr. Big and it is explained that he was responsible for kidnapping Mr. K's girlfriend Lucy.
In the Sega Master System version, Lucas is given his final name and is given a backstory. In this version, Lucas is a druglord in the 1970s whom took over the city of New Arcadia with his crime family known as the Syndicate. The syndicate became so powerful that the city police were either too afraid to stop the Syndicate or were actively on the Syndicate's payroll. From his luxurious mansion guarded by his private army, Lucas rules the city like a tyrant and gave his lieutenants, Jack, Joel and Kim "Carte blanche", allowing them to do whatever they wanted to the city. As a result, everyone in New Arcadia was forced to support the Syndicate.
One day, Mr. K decided to stand up to Lucas and the Syndicate. After taking out Lucas' army of minions as well as his lieutenants, Mr. K fought his way through Lucas' mansion where the druglord made his plans. After a fierce battle, Lucas was defeated and Mr. K escaped as the mansion exploded.
Target; Renegade[]
In the NES version, Mr. Big has kidnapped the Renegade's brother, Matt. Mr. Big is depicted in the game as much shorter than the average person and is shown to have a small private bathroom door separate from the men's room in his hideout. Despite his size, Mr. Big retains the green suit and pistol of his NES counterpart, though he also is shown to have a number of other weapons including knives and a hi-tech laser cannon.
In the computer version, Mr. Big is instead depicted as a large muscular man with short hair, a mustache and tuxedo that fights the Renegade hand to hand in a bar. After the Renegade defeats Big, he meets up with his girlfriend in the bar.
