Murasaki (むらさき), full name Kojirō Murasaki (紫小次朗, むらさき こじろう), is a third year student at Hōryō High School who was first featured in Downtown Nekketsu Baseball Monogatari: Yakyū de Shōbu da! Kunio-kun. He learned sword fighting and would give himself the nickname of the "Beautiful Swordsman". His throwing and batting skills are superb due to his experience in sword fighting, which made him an important figure at his school. Murasaki has feelings for Saori Gōda.

Murasaki plays the role of Kojirō.
Kojirō is first seen past the Siribalu Bridge as he asks Cooney Valford if he had seen a raven-haired maiden of rare beauty. He realizes by Cooney's blank face that he has no idea what he is talking about and asks him to forget what he had just said. He briefly mentions his twin brother, but cuts himself off and states that his brother no longer means anything to him anymore. He then to Cooney for stopping him and asks him to let him know if he finds the girl he's looking for. Later in Inzad, Kojirō can be talked to and will mention to Cooney that he had found out that Princess Mami is currently being held captive at Jubela Lake and that she is placed under a spell. He mentions that a Red Jewel is required to free her and that he is looking for someone who possesses one before he does anything. If Cooney has one in his inventory, Kojirō will temporarily join the party.
Upon arriving at Jubela Lake with the jewel equipped, Kojirō will state that it is proof that Cooney is a red knight and that they were responsible for Mami's kidnapping, but that whoever did it was not from Leyhollow. He mentions a kingdom on the western continent whose guardian knights dawned the jewel, but puts this aside and asks Cooney to go to the alter to remove the spell on Mami. After freeing her, Kojirō takes Mami back to Todd safely before reinforcements come and leaves the party.

Murasaki appears as a character unlocked from winning a game as the School Union in free battle. Murasaki is able to use the Mach Bash and the Hurricane.
