Knit is a character who was first featured in River City: Rival Showdown. He is a regular at the Tiger Hall gym and trains hard to learn the special moves he sees the high school students using. As a result of his training, he has been able to learn how to use the Mach Punch and Mach Kick. He is training buddies with Bald and Blonde.

River City: Rival Showdown is a remake of Downtown Nekketsu Story. The game takes place before River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~.
In the main story, Knit is hired by Kiyofumi Taira as backup on the second day to his alternate plan of jumping Riki at Starpark Café. When Kunio unexpectedly intervenes to assist Riki and takes Taira and his goons down, he calls in Knit, Bald and Blonde to attack the two. Knit mentions that although he has nothing personal against the two, he's going to have to beat them to a pulp. Upon being defeated, Knit compliments their fighting skills and expresses his interest in wanting to see them go up against Toraichi in the gym. Knit gives the two the name of the gym and mentions an elimination tournament they can partake in. Before leaving with Bald and Blonde, Knit apologizes to Taira for failing him.
In Riki's story, Toraichi will have Riki spar against Knit, Bald and Blonde.
Knit will appear as one of the opponents that Kunio can spar against at the Tiger Gym.
River City Saga: Three Kingdoms[]
Knit plays the role of Wei Xu, a general in Lu Bu (Misuzu)'s army.
Wei Xu will appear during the finale of the third chapter where he'll be seen as an enemy.
