Kayo is a student at Taiyō Academy who was first featured in Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun. She is best friends with Kumiko and Misuzu.

Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun[]
Kayo appears as one of Misuzu's lackeys on the third stage. In the Arcade version of the game, she wields a handbag that can knock the player to the floor and has more health than Kumiko. In the Famicom version, Kayo is replaced by a variant of Kumiko that uses a handbag instead of a chain.
River City Girls 2[]
Kayo appears as a common enemy. Her counterparts are named Asuka and Nani. Asuka is described as being Kayo's sister that taught her everything she knows. Nani was said too wish too many times at a coin fountain and was punished for her greed.

- Momoko, another Taiyō Academy student that debuted in Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun Special is meant to be an equivalent of Kayo by replacing her as a fleshed-out character.
