Hoshikusa Agricultural High School (星草農業高校) is a minor recurring institution that was first featured in Downtown Nekketsu Story. The students pride themselves on their farm-bred strength and are well-liked within the neighborhood as they are known for not being overly aggressive. The school was once lead by Tomoharu Enokida, though Susumu Godai would save the school from an attack while Tomoharu was away, which in turn lead to him losing his position as the school's banchō.
The uniform color is yellow.

The students appear as enemies and prefer to fight bare handed. They have powerful punches and will walk towards their opponents instead of running towards them as they fighting in close quarters.
Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX[]
The school serves the same purpose as it did in Downtown Nekketsu Story.
River City: Rival Showdown[]
River City: Rival Showdown is a remake of Downtown Nekketsu Story.
In the main story, Otori is able to be talked to on the second night and will attempt to sell party tickets to Kunio for five thousand yen. After being declined, Otori gets angry with Kunio and attempts to fight him alongside a group of other Hoshikusa students. Upon being defeated, Otori reveals that his school is being used by Reihō Academy in their party ticket scam and that he has to collect enough money for their share and Tanibana High School's share.
The school's students additionally appear as common enemies.
