Hong Kong is a special administrative region in China that was briefly featured in River City: Tokyo Rumble. It is regarded as one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
Background[]
During the events of River City: Tokyo Rumble, Sabu and Lee would flee to Hong Kong with the captured Madoka after confronting Kunio in Shinagawa to setup a trap for him. With the protagonists arriving in Hong Kong, Sabu and Lee are seen awaiting them and leads the group into Lee's Double Dragon themed movie set where they planned on filming their beatdown to have it be released as a feature film. The two then order Lee's goons to attack the protagonists where they then fight off a wave of enemies. With the enemies defeated, Sabu attempts to deter Kunio from acting any further as he claims that he still has leverage over him, though is suddenly interrupted by Ginjishi as he comes into the scene with Madoka rescued. Sabu immediately gets ready to shoot Madoka though Ginjishi jumps in front of her to block the bullet. Enraged, Kunio vows to make Sabu pay for what he's done and begins the fight against him and Lee.
Upon defeating Sabu and Lee, Shinji gets ready to take Ginjishi to the hospital but is told by him as he gets up from the ground that his late friend's bike hub he was carrying blocked the bullet. Madoka is then seen getting angry with Kunio for not listening to her request, though she stops herself and thanks him for what he's done regardless. The group then all catch a flight back to Japan.
