Hattori Academy

Hattori Academy (服部学園^?) is a recurring institution that was first featured in Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club – Soccer Story. It is an elite ninja school that is run by Ryugan Hattori, the father of Ryūichi and Ryūji Hattori^[1].

River City: Rival Showdown[]

River City: Rival Showdown is a remake of Downtown Nekketsu Story. The game takes place before River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~.

Three months prior to the main story, Taiki Yamada takes control over Reihō Academy and seeks out a pair of tough and reliable lieutenants to help carry out his scheme. Yamada comes across Ryūichi and Ryūji and demands a fight with them to prove his strength. After their defeat, Yamada reveals his plan to them of taking over the other schools in Japan and asks for their assistance. The twins willingly agree to serve under him as they lost fair and square, to which Yamada then orders them to transfer from Hattori Academy over to Reihō Academy immediately.
