Hōryō High School (ほうりょうこうこう, lit. "Good Haul High School") is a recurring institution that was first featured in Downtown Nekketsu Story and is the school where Tsuyoshi Gōda studies at. The school has a student council that is largely dominated by the girls that keeps the boys quiet and the school peaceful. The students are very studious and well-liked with Gōda being considered the toughest person at the school, though he doesn't view himself as it's leader. His likable appeal is what keeps applications from the girls rising.
The uniform's color is green.

Downtown Nekketsu Story[]
Hōryō High School is under the control of Masao Kobayashi due to Gōda's sister Saori being kidnapped by Ryūichi and Ryūji Hattori. The students appear as enemies and have a high defense and punch power with a preference to not use weapons.
Downtown River City Baseball Story ~Play Ball, Kunio!~[]
Hōryō High School appears as an opposing team in the story mode. The team is able to be played outside of the story mode.
Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX[]
The school serves the same purpose as it did in Downtown Nekketsu Story.
River City: Rival Showdown[]
River City: Rival Showdown is a remake of Downtown Nekketsu Story.
Hōryō High School is placed under the control of Reihō Academy after they began to threaten Gōda that they'll go after Saori if he doesn't comply with their orders. The students are able to be seen as enemies.
