Gray Bodyguard is a recurring enemy that was first featured in Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun. They are sharply-dressed Sanwakai members that are armed with an icepick.

Nekketsu Renegade Kunio-kun[]
The Gray Bodyguard debuted in the Arcade version of Nekketsu Renegade-Kunio-kun as one of Sabu's lackeys on the final stage. They will fight using an icepick and will perform a powerful attack that can take down Kunio in a single hit. In the Famicom version of the game, they are replaced by all of the enemies from the previous stages.
Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka[]
The Gray Bodyguard appears as an enemy outside of the Shinjuku Parlor and later at Sabu's Villa in Izu.

The Gray Bodyguard appears as a generic Sanwakai enemy.
River City: Tokyo Rumble[]
The Gray Bodyguard appears as a generic unnamed enemy that arrives to fight the player if certain NPCs are attacked at stations.

The Gray Bodyguard is able to be seen within the stage backgrounds when playing as the Outlaw team.
