Gōji (ゴウジ ) is a minor supporting character featured in Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka. He is the head prisoner inside of cell 218 at the Nerima Juvenile Correction Facility.
Background[]
Gōji is first seen at the beginning of the game when Kunio and Riki are sent to their cell where he then introduces himself as the head of cell 218 and tells them that they'll be treating him as their boss. Baffled, Kunio refuses to follow Gōji's orders and doesn't think of him very highly. Gōji laughs Kunio's comments off and gets excited to fight him as he hasn't seen someone rebellious in a while.
Upon being defeated, Gōji compliments Kunio's strength and admits defeat, telling him that he's now the head of their cell. Later during the day, Gōji is seen listening to Kunio explain how he was falsely arrested for a crime he didn't commit. When Kunio and Riki later return from Hiroshi's visit, he listens to them explain how they were framed by someone and then explains that breaking out of the prison will be an impossible task. With Kunio not willing to give up, Gōji asks how desperate they are to break out before offering them an escape plan later at night. During the night, Gōji has his cellmates pretend that they've gotten food poisoning in order to have one of the guards check inside of their cell. When Takayama walks in to see what's going on, Gōji grabs him from behind and allows Kunio and Riki to make their escape.
