Flunky is an unnamed character featured in Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal. He is an employee at Tōdō Group.
Background[]
Flunky first appears during the intro of the game where he gets ready to read off the Tōdō Group's oil profits for the month to Kōnosuke Tōdō before being knocked down by Mamoru Tōdō storming into the room crying. Unsure of what's going on, he questions why Mamoru is in such a panic, to which Mamoru attempts to trick his father into believing that Kunio has been bullying him everyday. Wanting to calm Mamoru down, he reminds him that Kōnosuke is powerful enough to do anything he'd like. During the ending of the game, he is seen in Kōnosuke's office and mentions how he hasn't seen his son around lately, in which Kōnosuke states that he hopes Tōdō learned his lesson. When Kunio walks in to introduce himself, Flunky agrees with Kōnosuke on his comment about Kunio's good looks.

- In Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge, Flunky was renamed to Mr. Lee, an Executive Director at Thornley Industries.

- In the Japanese version of Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal, Flunky wasn't given a name. He'd be given the name "Flunky" in the official English translation from the DOUBLE DRAGON & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle.
