Later at night, the two will be waiting for Kunio to show up at Nekketsu High School and will show off their increased strength as the two have hit the gym after their first loss. Defeated again, the two figured they were too tired from the gym and that they'll need learn some new moves before taking on Kunio the next day.
On the second day, Kamijō and Yamamoto will appear waiting outside of the gym on Eito Resort and have another fight with Kunio after a sleepless night training to learn new special moves. The two lose to Kunio once again and come to the conclusion that they are the toughest but only come behind Kunio in strength, so they believe incorporating combos will be able to get the best of Kunio.
At the beginning of the third day, Kamijō and Yamamoto send a message to Hiroshi to pass onto Kunio that they're waiting for him outside of the Yumemi Spa. When Kunio confronts the two, they acknowledge things have been getting crazy in town over the past few days though reassure that their scuffle is only on the side and whatever is happening won't affect their showdown. The two attempt to take on Kunio for the fourth time with all that they've learned, though are bested once more. Upon being defeated, the two thank Kunio for being willing to fight them as it truly did help them become Kagemura High School's top delinquents and for teaching them the importance of challenging others. Confused, Kunio comments that he hasn't taught them anything, though gives them credit for having guts. Feeling honored by Kunio's praise, the two get ready to continue their training and think that they'll need to double their efforts in order to surpass Kunio's strength.
During the final day on the true ending, Kamijō and Yamamoto will show up to Reihō Academy's gym to assist Kunio and Riki in their fight against Onizuka. Upon defeating Onizuka, Kamijō and Yamamoto are astonished at their victory and believe they're one step closer to becoming even stronger than Reihō Academy. The two let Kunio and Riki leave and decide to stay in the gym to not let anyone get past them.
