Ether is a character featured in River City Ransom: Underground. He is the leader of the Warlocks and the janitor at River City High. He is a fanatic of Slick and uses his mop as a magic wand.

Ether is first seen during the beginning of the game cleaning the school. He is later mentioned by Otis after he is defeated by the protagonists. He mentions that if they want to find Slick, they'll need to talk to Ether in the school's basement. Upon breaking into the school's boiler room and clearing out the enemies, Ether summons himself into the room and briefly talks about how he learned how to harness Slick's power before he starts to fight the group. Upon being defeated, Ether states that Slick is currently at the old River City High and mentions that it was where he once fought Alex. He then begs for Slick's attention before getting knocked out.
