Crusher is a localized version of Riki appearing in the North American version of Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal. In this continuity, Crusher is an affiliate of Thornley Industries and is a super athlete picked out by Mr. Lee to participate for Team Thornley.

Crusher debuted in the localization of Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal as the replacement for Riki and as the replacement for Raphael in the story. He is a member of Team Thornley's team.
During the ending of the game, Crusher is seen at the airport with Rocky Rockowitz getting ready to fly back home, though the two are stopped by Todd who came by to hand them a gift. Todd then hands Crusher a bouquet and an invitation for their return sent by Mr. Thornley before attempting to lie about Crash and claiming that he's been badmouthing them. Although they know that Todd is lying, Crusher and Rocky pretend to believe him and leave for their flight. When Crash arrives late and disappointed that he wasn't able to see Team Thornley off, Skip returns with the bouquet that was given to Crusher and claims that he found it in the trash. Skip then reads off a note left by the two calling Todd a loser and giving praise to Crash which infuriates Todd.
