Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge[]
Crash debuted in the localization of Surprise! Nekketsu New Records! The Distant Gold Medal as the replacement for Kunio. He is the captain of Southside High School's team.
Crash is first seen during the opening of the game as he and his team win once again in the All-City Track Meet. With Todd angry at the Southside's victory, he challenges Crash vowing that he'll be going down, to which Crash accepts. Later at the Thorney Industries headquarters, Mr. Thornley is seen angry at his son Todd for failing him. With Mr. Lee demanding that Todd challenges the Southside to a rematch, Todd requests his father that he removes the tournament rules in order to leave Crash vulnerable.
During the ending of the game, Crash goes to meet Mr. Thornley at his office and explains that he was late due to the guards stopping all Southsiders from entering the building. Mr. Thornley apologizes for the inconvenience and congratulates Crash on his victory, with Mr. Lee stating that their Thornley All-Star team even had great praises for his competitive spirit. Crash thanks the two for the compliments, though questions why they're acting so nice towards him. Mr. Thornley explains that Washington High has previously gone undefeated, though because of Crash's rivalry with Todd, his relationship with him has soured. Crash assures that he had no intention on causing any trouble, though states that anyone who challenges his crew is going to get what's coming to them. Before Crash leaves the office, he thanks Mr. Thornley for his time and sarcastically proposes that they can all be friends knowing that they won't let go of their grudge.
Crash later arrives at the airport but appears disappointed that he was unable to say goodbye to Rocky Rockowitz and his team. When Todd questions why he's there and attempts to scare Crash out of facing against the Thornley team again, Crash expresses that he thought they were great athletes and that they have said the same about his own team. When Skip finds the flowers Todd gave Crush in the trash, a note is posted calling Todd a loser while thanking Crash. With Todd furious, he threatens to have the Thornley team fired and frame Crash as the one responsible, though Crash isn't phased by his threats and instead threatens to fight him at the airport. Before chasing after Todd and Skip, Crash expresses his excitement in being able to crush the Hillers on the ice during Hockey season.
River City Girls 2[]
In this continuity, Crash is reimagined to be older and as a self-proclaimed renowned athlete. He works as a clerk at the Yakuzi Jacuzzi in both Flatirons and next to the Sanwakai Tower. Crash is voiced by Anthony Sardinha in English and remains uncredited in the Japanese dub.
Crash is first able to be seen inside of the Bath House in Flatirons. Upon talking to him, Crash will excitingly greet the protagonists and ask if they're ready to get wrecked. The group confusingly decline before asking for his name, to which he then introduces himself and states that nobody has been able to beat his best time in a cross-city relay race. Crash asks the protagonists if they're up for the challenge and states they'll be able to get bragging rights if they win, though the group declines. In an attempt to persuade them, he mentions they'll also be rewarded with a cash prize, but believes they should do it for the bragging rights alone as he claims that he's a big deal. Upon accepting his challenge, Crash will hand the group of the race's route which leads all the way to the campground. Once beaten, Crash will be in disbelief about his loss and states that he'll need to be alone for a while to process what he claims as a bogus turn of events. Before he leaves, the group asks him to hand them their prize.
