Chris is a supporting character that was first featured in River City Ransom: Underground. She is the leader of The Flock and is a student at River City High.

In the story mode, Chris is first mentioned by Merv during a city-wide announcement as being the one responsible for taking his dog. Merv puts a bounty on the members of the Flock with the protagonists coming to the conclusion that was the reason why she hasn't been around lately.
Upon confronting Merv inside of his office, Chris will walk in to the surprise of the group and reveals that she's rescued his dog. Chris explains to the group that Slick set her up while she was following him and had his goons ambush her. She says that she woke up in the deepest part of River City High, though her conversation would be cut off by Merv when he thanked her for rescuing his dog. Wes enters the room to push the protagonists outside of the window with Chris and Merv deciding to wait for them at the tower's entrance. Now knowing who was responsible for everything, Chris decides that regrouping would be the best course of action and joins the team as a playable character.
Chris is later seen waiting near the locker she escaped from in River City High and informs the group that's where they'll need to head next. During the ending of the game, Chris appears outside of the locker and gets ready to brace for impact from an explosion, though is relieved everything is back to normal after the explosion only created a miniscule blast.

Chris is voiced by Sarah Anne Williams in English and remains uncredited in the Japanese dub.
Upon being defeated by the protagonists, Provie explains to Misako and Kyoko that she was looking for Chris as she suspects Ken may have taken her. Kyoko offers her help and asks Provie where she last saw Chris, to which she explains that she was last with her at the arcade where she then noticed Ken and his goons show up. The protagonists notice their phones have been hacked with Provie mentioning it's coming from Technos. She's unsure if they're related to Ken or not, but planned on going anyway to look for Chris. The protagonists offer their help once again and Provie reluctantly accepts.
From this point on, Chris will appear as a hirable assist outside of the training dojo in Crosstown.

- While the text under her yearbook photo is blurry, her full name appears to be written as Christine Martin.
- Chris was loosely based off of the at the time girlfriend of River City Ransom Underground's director Bannon Rudis.[1]
