Burnov (ブルノフ Burunofu) is a recurring guest character from the Double Dragon series first featured in River City Girls. In Double Dragon, he is a former wrestler and frequent inmate who was a recurring boss enemy hired by the Black Warriors.

In this continuity, Burnov acts as a bouncer. He is voiced by Greg Chun.
Burnov is first seen in Ocean Heights as a bouncer for Noize's concert. When asked questions by Misako and Kyōko as they try to get inside, he gives brief and indirect answers before telling them to leave. Kyōko asks if there's any way to get on the yacht, to which Burnov states that they'll need a VIP pass. Misako asks where they're able to get one, though gets angry when Burnov replies stating that degenerates would never get VIP and labels them as one. Kyōko quickly defuses the situation and gets Misako away from him before she'd decide to attack him. Upon returning with VIP passes, Burnov questions if they're legitimate, though is threatened by Misako if he doesn't let them through. With Burnov unphased by her threats, Kyōko tries to brush things off and changes the topic back to wanting to get onto the yacht mentioning that they don't want to miss the first song. Burnov approves of the passes and lets the girls through.
River City Girls 2[]
Burnov is once again voiced by Greg Chun in English and remains uncredited in the Japanese dub.
Burnov is first seen outside of Primo's restaurant in Ocean Heights and once again acts as a bouncer. The protagonists will recognize him and attempt to ask him to let them inside, though he rudely tells them to leave. Learning from Sabuko that they'll need a disguise of Blaire and Tsuiko on-top of their emblems, the group will obtain a disguise from Hibari before returning. Upon returning with their disguises, they will attempt to impersonate Blaire and Tsuiko, though Burnov passes their appearances off stating that he wouldn't remember what they look like anyway and asks for their emblems. Burnov is handed their emblems and approves of them before letting the protagonists inside the restaurant.
Trivia[]
- In both of Burnov's appearances, he would disappear whenever letting the protagonists past in the same way he would when defeated in Double Dragon.
