Billy, full name Billy Lee (ビリー・リー Birī Rī ), is a recurring guest character from the Double Dragon series that was first featured in River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~. He is one of the two main protagonists in Double Dragon and is the twin brother, training partner and sometimes the rival of Jimmy Lee. In his appearances, he is typically a palette swap of Ryūichi and Ryūji Hattori.

Billy appears as a member of the World Team and is fought against in the secret round, though can be unlocked for play outside of the story mode. Billy is able to use the Burst Dragon Kick, Dragon Tail Kick, and the Dragon Beheaded-throw.
River City: Rival Showdown[]
Billy appears as a playable character in the Double Dragon Duel gamemode.
River City Melee: Battle Royal Special[]
Billy returns as a member of the World Team and is involved in the story mode. Billy is able to use Bakuma Ryūjin Kyaku, Ryūbi Ranpū Kyaku, and Ryūjin Zanshutō.
River City Girls[]
Billy appears as the trainer at the Dojo in Ocean Heights. He is voiced by Dan Avidan.

Billy reprises his role as the trainer at the Dojo in Ocean Heights. His evil clone appears as a clerk under the name of Shadow Billy at The ShaDough Realm in Flatirons. Shadow Billy is voiced by Ross O'Donovan in English and remains uncredited in the Japanese dub.
In Marian Kelly's backstory, she mentions moving down to River City with Billy and Jimmy a few years prior. When Marian would learn to fend for herself, the brothers got tired of going on their adventures and decided to set up a pair of dojos in the city. When Sonny Lee is later rescued in Ocean Heights, he talks about being the third Double Dragon brother, though the protagonists do not believe him and name Jimmy and Billy as being the only brothers.
Billy and Jimmy would be announced as playable DLC characters on April 24, 2024[1] with a release slated for the Summer of 2024.[2]
Trivia[]
- Billy and Jimmy were planned to appear in the cancelled Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun: Kowloon no Tsume. The two would've met Kunio and Riki while they were training in Hong Kong.
- According to his bio in River City Super Sports Challenge ~All Stars Special~, Billy was scouted out by Michael Tobioka during his training.[3]
- In River City: Rival Showdown, Ryūji is able to briefly transform into Billy during his "Blue Dragon" super special.
- The reverse is able to happen where Billy will briefly transform into Ryūji when performing the super special in the Double Dragon Duel gamemode.
