Benny is a localized version of Kamijō first appearing in the North American & European versions of Downtown Nekketsu Story. In this continuity, Benny is from out of town and is described as being mean and cunning. He is often seen with Clyde.

Benny debuted in the localization of Downtown Nekketsu Story as the replacement for Kamijō.
Benny and Clyde come to River City looking for a good fight. The two are first able to be seen underneath the Capitol Ave Bridge and get ready to fight Alex and Ryan upon seeing them. If defeated, the two will later unexpectedly run into Alex and Ryan outside of Pop's Health Club and then attempt to settle the score with them.
River City Ransom EX[]
Benny replaces Kamijō in the localization of Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari EX. Although the name was changed, Benny's sprite remained unchanged from Kamijō.
River City: Rival Showdown[]
Benny appears in the English version of River City: Rival Showdown's Double Dragon Duel gamemode as a playable character unlocked by default.
River City Ransom: Underground[]
In the present day, Benny is mentioned by Alex as someone who may be involved when Roxy confirms to the protagonists that Slick's old subordinates have been spotted in town as of late with her most recent tip pointing towards the Riverside Bridge.
